Sarah Daly is a practicing barrister and CEDR Accredited Mediator, specialising in employment law and personal injury litigation, since 2005.
In recent years, Sarah has been regularly engaged to carry out investigations for businesses of all sizes, including semi-state organisations, universities and several large international companies in the pharma-tech sectors. Sarah has also undertaken a number of engagements with smaller companies across Ireland.
Sarah has significant direct experience in advising both employers and employees regarding litigation and presenting disputes before Courts, Adjudication Officers and Tribunals. Sarah is keenly aware of the legal considerations relevant to workplace disputes and ensures that these are fully addressed during any investigation, grievance or disciplinary process.

Oftentimes in smaller organisations, or where the respondent holds a senior or key position, it can be difficult to locate an appropriately impartial party to chair a grievance, disciplinary or appeal hearing.
Sarah Daly HR Solutions will be happy to provide an impartial and experienced employment law expert to conduct the disciplinary/grievance hearing, which will address any potential gaps in investigation process, issue a determination as to whether the allegations are upheld and identify the appropriate disciplinary sanction (if any)
The opportunity to avail of an impartial appeals process is a fundamental ingredient of any fair disciplinary or grievance procedure. There are many situations where an external party is required to hear an appeal and evaluate whether the original decision should stand or be overturned.
Sarah Daly HR Solutions will provide an impartial and experienced adjudicator to conduct the appeal hearing and to issuing an outcome as regards to the investigative and/or disciplinary findings and any resulting sanctions issued.
Mediation
Mediation offers an opportunity for parties to a dispute to address and resolve any difficulties in an informal yet structured manner. Successful mediation will allow the parties to find their own solution to the problems that are presented. The benefits of mediation are widely recognised within Irish workplaces.
